And my thoughts on em...
Wintin
I like this client....it is completely free and fairly easy to use. You can use speedwalks, triggers, and aliases. You can store all these in one file on your computer so you can easily edit em. It does seem to crash a little but the writer of the program is still working on it so it will get updated and from the way he sounds it will always be free.
You can download it here on my webpage.
or here if im running slow.
Zmud
I used this client when i first started mudding...however that was when i was playing quest type muds....my computers a little out of date (486) so this program runs a bit slow for me to use on a pk based mud like loc...however it is a very nice program with a nice interface. It has everything wintin does but keeps track of it all in a windows like shell. The program itself is more than likely going to be continually updated and is a deal at 20 US dollars...you only pay for it once after each update u can get the new version free. You can download a shareware version (30 day trial) to give it a try and he used to have freeware of the older versions on his site...im not sure if he still does or not. But it is deffinately a nice program.

MudMaster
This program is very similar to wintin...but it has that nice bar for commands at the bottom of the screen like zmud. SO its sorta the bastard child of wintin and zmud. It is very similar like i said to wintin in that u can do speedwalks, aliases, triggers and all that shit and keep track of em in a file so u can edit them later. I tried it but it got to be too much trouble for me...i like that bar but ive played without if for way to long now. Mudmaster is unstable if ran directly from windows so u have to goto either a dos prompt or restart your computer in dos. But it is a nive program. Oh and i forgot its also freeware.
You can download it here.
Av-play
If you wanna try it and tell me what you think ill list more info about it. All i know is it has a graphical interface and is made for a mud called Avalon...but can supposidly be adapted easily for other muds...i didnt mess with it...its freeware also.
IF your curious you can get it here.http://www.avalon-rpg.com/connect/avplay.html
Elf
This is another gui type mud client. It looks fairly cool but i didnt wanna mess with it because it ran a bit too slow on my puter...It's sorta like zmud but youll just have to try it for yourself if you wanna see what it can do. It has a registartion fee of 30 US dollars but u can download a shareware version that will last for 10 to 14 days. It looks like the designers care about their product just like zmud cares so if u like it i wouldnt say it was a bad investment.(although personally i see no reason to pay for software with a wonderfull internet full of freeware)
If you go here you can get it.
MushClient
I wasnt impressed but if you want to try something give her a go...it has a registration fee but the program itself is fully enabled and doesnt expire like zmud or any other shareware ive seen.
Just thought i'd put this up here for u guys...i like to know all the options when i can.
Dont take my opinions for your own...find out if you'd like or be like me get stuck on one program.
